The Viking Water Motor Alarm is a mechanical alarm device driven by water flow in wet sprinkler systems.
When a sprinkler activates, the flowing water drives a turbine wheel that produces a loud, continuous alarm sound outside the building.
As it operates without electrical power, the water motor alarm serves as a reliable redundant (backup) alarm for fire protection systems.
